Getting high on Nature Torbay ( Cosy Corner)

Up in the morning to head down to Albany for the market. The market was not much so we had lunch then headed off to the Granite sky walk in Porongorup National Park. This walk is part of the ‘Get high on Nature trail’ which includes the Treetop walk we did yesterday, the Granite sky walk and the Gap and Natural bridge. The first part of the walk is an easy steady uphill climb and is under the canopy of the trees. When you reach the summit it is a little more difficult with a bit of rock scrambling before you get on to the structured steel ladder and skywalk. I had thongs on. I would recommend wearing shoes.

It is breathtaking up there. If you come here, I 100% recommend you do this it was really special.

We did a quick visit round the corner to ‘Tree in a rock’ and guess what? It is a tree in a rock. How it grows there I don’t know but I’m glad it did.

From here back to the coast. We drove down to have a look at the gap and natural bridge OMG this place is amazing the Southern Ocean pounding away at the granite rocks and so crystal clear you could see right through the water. The platform looks great in the environment and the kids were loving watching the ocean swirl.

It was pretty cold so went exploring the other parts of Torndirrup National park which were so beautiful. It looks like Wilsons Prom but with whiter sand.
