Tingle trees to Cosy Corner beach camp.

We were heading for the coast again. Along the way we drove the Great forest trees drive.

This took in the amazing Tingle trees. These forest Grandfathers are almost from another time and are much older than the Karri and Marri giants. Their girth is impressive and they have become gnarly with age. There is a hush in the forest when in their presence. Tingle I did. I got a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. The photos don’t do it justice but I let you be the judge.

From here we went through Walpole to Nornalup which is home to a fantastic skywalk that takes you up in the canopy. Wow

We got kicked out at closing time of course so set off for Cosy Corner free camp
about 25kms out of Albany. There are toilets and rubbish collection here. No bookings first in best dressed and max stay of 7 nights. We scored the last camp! There are a family of Bandicoots who live at the camp site and they were cute as but quick so I didn’t get a photo.
