Derby sunset
Mt Hart to Derby 15th
Derby is the end of the Gibb. We packed ourselves up. Took a deep breath and headed off on our last leg of the Gibb. We don't make it to Winganna the Rd was bad and the van was tired so head for our last destination which is a lovely over night to stop called Birdwood downs station. It is located about 20 km from Derby and is about $40 a great camp kitchen and clean bathrooms. They have peacocks there which the kids enjoyed. We headed into town to see the sunset on the famous pier and huge tides at Derby. 
Elmo has been bringing joy to road workers along the Gibb even the big tough blokes all smile and say "Hello Elmo "
